Luxury house in a picturesque fishing village on the coast of North Cornwall
Port Isaac - Beaches and Bays
Port Gaverne’s small sandy beach next to Port Isaac is very safe for small children
and Port Isaac itself has rock pools and a cave for children to explore.
Five miles away is Polzeath, a surfer’s paradise. Daymer Bay, just beyond Polzeath, has an amazing expanse of sandy beach and is excellent for families. Rock is 10 minutes drive away and these three beaches offer some of Cornwall’s best sailing, surfing and water skiing.
Daymer Bay and Trebetherick were both loved by Sir John Betjeman and it is here, at St. Enodoc church, that he is buried. There are readings of his poetry on Bray Hill, overlooking Daymer Bay, on Monday evenings in July and August.
